Dan Claudiu Negrău (cont LinkedIn) graduated, in 2016, from the Undergraduate Studies courses at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Management and Technological Engineering, respectively, in 2018, he gradueted the courses of the Master’s Degree Studies (Computer Assisted Design, Manufacturing and Management). Currently is a PhD student at the same university, in the field of Industrial Engineering, with the research topic: “Contributions on the development of additive manufacturing on numerically controlled machines”.

Now, Dan Claudiu Negrău is associate professor at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Management and Technological Engineering, and is responsible for teaching laboratory work in the subjects “Manufacturing Technologies” and “Computer Aided Manufacturing”.

Since 2017, Eng. Dan Claudiu Negrau has written a consistent number of scientific articles, some of which have been cited by independent authors in journals indexed in prestigious databases. Thus these articles are covered by Web of Sciences (4 papers), SCOPUS (16 articles), Google Scholar (22 articles), or other internationally recognized databases (with ISSN or ISBN, 4 articles), or national databases (1 article).

The research papers, developed by engineer Dan Claudiu Negrău, address issues in the following areas: finite element analysis, numerical methods, subtractive mechanical processing and additive mechanical processing.

Dan Claudiu Negrău has mainly constant concerns about additive machining related to additive processing, and his doctoral studies focus on the idea of combining additive processing with cutting processing using 3D printers and mixed CNC machines (Computer Numerical Control). This field is complemented by topological optimization research and studies, using the finite element method, in ANSYS, respectively modeling and numerical analysis of data, using MATLAB.
